Job duties

In the role as a Data Engineer you will work with your team and take the next step in building our efficient platform for data-driven analytics at Postnord. Our digital transformation journey started a few years back with migrating BI/DW platform to Azure and we are creating an infrastructure to be more data-driven by enabling self-service capabilities.

This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills that allows working across the whole data engineering value chain. In your position you will build complex data pipelines in Microsoft Azure and Databricks and optimize data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists to provide required data structures and enable new insights and also support in building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources to Azure. It`s a broad role and you will keep the data secure across the end-to-end solutions and develop your competencies, and learn new tools and ways of working.

We are looking for you who have

As a Data Engineer you perform hands-on coding and mentor and lead the team in development processes and code standards. Secondly, you collaborate and interact with the existing development team as well as stakeholders, other team members, architects, as and line managers to design and define the competencies, processes, models and

As a person you are curious to learn and evolve your skill set in accordance with the state of the art pace in the domain that you work in. You have realised that modern software production resembles industrial production in the sense that it requires a scalable approach to QA and deployment, and you are also humble for the fact that creating and maintaining great solutions at scale is a team effort and not an initiative of a few superheroes.
