 As a Product Owner for the Production Core platform within our organization operating in the production area, you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of software solutions focused on managing the shared-service kafka platform, that is going to be used by many teams for exchange of events and orders. Your role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders, teams, understanding business and the processes, and translating those requirements into a prioritized backlog for the development team. The goal is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient and a stable kafka platform that meet the business and customer needs.

Job duties

•Lead the Kafka Platform team to ensure seamless integration and operation of the Kafka infrastructure.

•Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of Kafka solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to drive the adoption and optimization of Kafka-based solutions.

•Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and goals.

•Monitor and report on the performance of the Kafka platform, implementing improvements and ensuring high availability and reliability.

We are looking for you who have

Need-to-have

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Adaptable and open to feedback
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka and its ecosystem, including experience with Kafka Streams, KSQL, and Kafka Connect.
• Strong understanding of data streaming, messaging systems, and real-time data processing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or similar.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent in Swedish

Knowledge requirement

• Certified product owner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
