As our Developer Experience Technical Product Owner, you will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of a world-class developer experience platform. A key part of this role involves consolidating and migrating common source code management systems to create a unified, efficient, and secure experience for our engineers. You’ll own, drive and implement initiatives in developer tooling, internal platforms, and productivity metrics, ensuring our engineering teams have the resources they need to build, deploy, and operate software smoothly.

Join a fresh initiative as the Technical Product Owner for Developer Experience, leading a newly-formed team that will own, manage, and optimize all DevEx tools across the organization. You’ll help build a developer experience platform from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership and collaborating across departments to drive productivity, standardize processes, and enhance engineering culture. Job duties 

  • Define and lead the roadmap for internal developer platform initiatives, focusing on consolidation of source code management and standardization of development practices. 
  • Drive adoption of best practices for code and artifact management across engineering teams. 
  • Implement and track DORA metrics to monitor productivity and pinpoint areas for improvement. 
  • Build and enhance tools, processes, and automation to streamline development workflows. 
  • Develop a self-service application catalogue aligned with organizational standards. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and stakeholders to identify needs and prioritize developer experience improvements. 

 

We are looking for you who have (need to have) 

  • Experience in technical leadership within developer experience, DevOps, or platform engineering. 
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale migrations and consolidations of source code management systems. 
  • Strong understanding of software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure. 
  • Knowledge of DORA metrics and using insights to drive productivity improvements. 
  • Strategic vision for developer experience and the ability to execute impactful initiatives. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on fostering cross-functional alignment 

Meritorious experience (nice to have) 

  • Expertise in harmonizing and migrating large-scale consolidation projects involving common source code management 
  • Experience with GitHub for source code management and Artifactory for artifact management
  • Familiarity with building or managing an internal developer platform (IDP) 
  • Skills in agile methodologies and backlog prioritization
  • Knowledge of observability tools to monitor and enhance developer experience
