About the position

Nordic Strategy and Solutions is a group function that plays an important role in developing and implementing the long-term strategy, as well as accelerating the data and tech transformation of our businesses.

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Data & Analytics (D&A) Innovation unit, within the Nordic Strategy and Solutions department; and will directly contribute to a virtual D&A Transformation Office (Lighthouse teams operating under the Accelerator model).

You are the link between the business's needs, processes and technical development. You´ll work closely with the business product owner as well as other talented colleagues in a cross-functional team tasked to accelerate our D&A transformation. Togheter with your team, you will translate business ambitions and needs into concrete Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for digital and analytics use cases; and ensure that these are successfully executed.

Job description

In the role of Business Analyst, you will be an important player for the progress, achievement, and deliverables of business outcomes in the form of incremental Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) prioritized together with the product owner and business sponsor. You will work in a cross functional Nordic enviroment.

Your work will include the following key aspects:

• Conducting workflow mapping to assess as-is pain points, and paint target state picture
• Understanding how to structure business case using quantitative and qualitative reasoning
• Conducting analyses spanning a wide range of topics relating to the strategic roadmap of MVPs
• Identifying and validating business problems to be solved
• Supporting the Change Management Experts with content creation and activities relating to deployment and adoption of MVPs

We are looking for you who have

• Experience from taking ownership of tasks and delivering strong analyses independently
• Experienced working in multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams
• Results oriented with a track record of delivering results
• Strong communication and analytical thinking skills
• Strong customer focus and ability to understand customers' needs
• Relevant academic education within bussiness economics and/or engineering
• 3+ years in a smiliar assignment
• Fluent in speech and text in English and Swedish or Danish
• Advantage if you have previous experience of working in an accelerator model

The role requires a few years of experience in similar work and the ability to understand drivers of real business value and technical details, think innovatively, have analytical skills, and understand the big picture; all to support the development of business use cases powered by digital capabilities and delivered as MVPs: revenue potential, cost savings, investment needs, breakthrough mentality, etc.
