PostNord is looking for a Senior Security Architect who will ensure our systems' security by designing and implementing cyber security controls at a scale.  

The CISO Office at PostNord Group houses is responsible for protecting the business, enabling digital transformation and earning trust. We work very closely with the enterprise architects, network and system administrators, developers, privacy officers and production engineers to name a few; on a journey to further expand our information security capabilities.   

Our information security program is driven by a risk-based approach, rather than a compliance-based approach followed by highly regulated industries.  And the Security Architect role holds a critical position, ensuring that our information systems excel beyond the corporate policies and industry standards. 

Job duties

• Support the tech delivery in product and services teams with expert security knowledge relevant to a specific technology area or domain (e.g. cloud, network security, key & encryption, secure software development, data protection, data privacy, disaster recovery and business continuity planning).  
• Develop the required processes and tools to support the tech delivery teams.  
• Define and develop security guardrails 
• Lead efforts to mitigate gaps and enhance system capabilities, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. 
• Knowledge sharing and mentorship: Offer expert advice and training to team members and stakeholders on compliance standards, best practices in system security, and technical procedures, including those related to cloud security solutions.  
• Ensure all team members possess the necessary knowledge and skills to support compliance and security efforts effectively. 

We are looking for you who have

• A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.  
• Minimum 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas, including cloud. 
• At 5 least years working in medium- to large-scale IT environments as a security architect or other security design functions. 
• Advanced cyber security knowledge and experience is required. 
• Exposure and knowledge to industry standards (e.g. NIST CSF, ISO 27001)  
• Advanced Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) is preferred.  
• Cloud certification or proven expertise in AWS and Azure security solutions are a plus. 
• Very good understanding of network security concepts such as SASE. 
• Excellent understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms and protocols. 
• Able to work and communicate in a multi-cultural environment. 
• Service Oriented mindset. 
• Able to communicate in writing and verbally in a clear and concise manner.
