Job duties 

As the Senior Engineer/Tech Lead for the Geographical Information Master, you will be coding and play a pivotal role in leading the Tech development and enhancement of PostNord Geographical Master Data. With the most part of PostNord systems consuming GIM Master data and Nordic Countries using the GIM UI your responsibilities will include making sure that the application is using the right software and that it is updated accordingly. You will collaborate closely with PO, Team, Senior Master Data Architect and Enterprise Master Data Architect making sure GIM system is developed and maintained correctly. 

We are looking for you who have 

Experience: (Need-to-have) 

• Experience in managing application with Event driven architecture. 
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Engineer or similar role like Tech Lead. 
• Experience in building microservices 
• Understanding of container orchestration platforms and experience deploying production software 
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices 
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Knowledge and experience working with GO 
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices 

Meritorious experience: (Nice-to-have) 

• Experience in working with logistics industry specifically around Master Data and Geographical Data. 
• Strong understanding of PostNord Geographical Data, particularly within the Nordic region.
