Group IT develops, operates and supports all IT-solutions within PostNord (excluding our daughter companies Strålfors, TPL and DirectLink who has their own IT-departments). By doing this, we are one of the key functions in PostNord’s transformation, in bringing happiness and value to our customers and in driving profitability.

Group IT today consists of 340 employees located in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland and 700 consultants, mainly supplied by our two main partners TCS and CAP/Gemini, most of who is located in India.

Job duties

The Head of the Agile Office leads the Agile Office team and is responsible and accountable for the “how” in our lean and agile operating model.

The Agile Office is the agile excellence centre of PostNord and owns, drives and develops our agile way of working. All agile roles within Group IT sits in the Agile office and the team consists of people taking on the roles of Agile Coaches, SCRUM-masters and Release Train Engineers.

The team is responsible for leading and running the daily work in our Agile Release Trains and SCRUM-teams but also in coaching, supporting and developing agile principles and way of working throughout Group IT as well as supporting other entities outside of Group IT around lean and agile.

The team today consists of 6 employees and 24 consultants divided into two teams with a manager for each team. In this role you are also a part of the IT-leadership team. You report directly to Jörgen Hellberg, CIO PostNord Group. 

We are looking for you who have

You have a long background in lean product development and agile, both as a practitioner and a leader. You have a solid experience and grasp of continuous improvement, SCRUM, Agile and DevOps. You have a pragmatic approach to agile, meaning that you understand and believe that agile is not in contradiction to a company’s need to run projects or work with deadlines.

You have gone through agile transformations, preferably in a large organisation with a multi-sourcing strategy. You have the ability to create and communicate your vision as well as inspiring action and driving change through continuous improvement.

Must

  • +5 years of working with agile frameworks including SCRUM and SAFe
  • Experience in doing agile transformations in large companies with on- and offshore resources
  • Your background is probably as a software developer, architect, SCRUM-master or Release Train Engineer
  • +5 years experience as a manager, creating commitment and enthusiasm to achieve goals
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with lean and lead principles

Meritorious

  • Experience in project portfolio management
  • BSc or MSc in relevant fields
  • Fluent in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish
  • Background in parcel logistics
