Job duties

As a software engineer at PostNord, you will be responsible for develop very of software projects. Your role will include:

• Building and maintaining microservices architecture
• Implementing best practices in software development and ensuring code quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensuring the stability and scalability of our applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

We are looking for you who have

Experience: (Need-to-have)

• Solid understanding of Java Software Development (mostly microservice architecture) based on Spring or Quarkus framework
• Adequate knowledge about Confluent Kafka and Confluent Schema Registry
• Experience with Apache Avro specification and understanding the concept of serialization and deserialization of events.
• Good knowledge about Kubernetes architecture, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, Confluent Cloud.
• Experience with understanding/writing Terraform scripts including Azure and AWS providers.
• Experience with Grafana / Prometheus and setup alerting mechanism.
• Experience with configuring AKHQ for monitoring the Confluent Kafka topics.
• Experience with Bitbucket CI/CD pipeline and generally good knowledge about Git approaches
• Experience with Helm Chart and deployment to the Cloud providers.
• Familiar with agile ways of working in accordance with SAFe or Scrum.
• Good understanding of security and vulnerability concerns.
• Highly communication skillset and can-do attitude.
• Fluent in English
