PostNord is the leader of logistics and postal services in the Nordics. The teams and organization for automation and advanced automation at PostNord is growing, and we have taken on the challenge of unifying and modernizing our capabilities surrounding data. As a part of the IT organisation, we support a variety of different PostNord stakeholders in a multitude of areas, such as e.g. HR and logistics. We are already delivering business critical analytics and automation that is an important piece of the puzzle of optimising our operations, and coming in now, you will be able to set your mark on the way we take our capabilities in the area to the next level.

We are a small leadership team in a state of growth, with a commitment to Agile that we want to be reflected also in our management style. Accountability, transparency and trust are common principles by which we create a positive work environment. To the table we bring our different backgrounds, experience and personality and together we approach the growth and challenges within our area and apply a pragmatic approach to share duties and tasks through weekly planning meetings and shorter, more frequent stand ups. Mode of operation ranges from operational, to tactical to strategic, with a clear focus on delivering true value. We walk the talk to uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, innovation and have an ambition to be as automated and hypothesis driven in our management as the vision of the PostNord operations that we work enable. You will have a great influence on your work, and we expect you to bring ideas forward that can improve the deliveries and ways of working within the team.

Job duties

As Head of Solutions your main responsibility is to build, manage and support software development teams that deliver full stack analytics solutions that cater PostNord operation and business area in their journey towards data driven. Your focus is to provide organizational leadership in a highly technical context, with a continuous strive towards self-organising development teams that deliver the right value in the right way. You collaborate with solution and enterprise architects, scrum manager and product owner to design and define the competencies, processes and technology needed to meet business requirements and architectural strategy.

You will have a great influence on your work, and we expect you to bring ideas forward that can improve the deliveries and ways of working within the team.

We are looking for you who have

Worked as a manager before or have other types of proven experience as a formal or informal leader in a software development environment, with focus on our people, culture, organisation, and agile ways of working. As a person you are curious to learn and evolve and adapt your skills and tools in accordance with needs of the domain and context that you work in. The uncertainties and varying responsibilities that follow by joining an organisation that is in parallel delivering and growing, defining its mission, vision, methods and architecture, you embrace as a stimulating challenge and you enjoy the journey and not only the destination.

You will be part of our distributed team, currently spread over Denmark, Sweden, and India.
